One of the longstanding bridal traditions is the Bridal Veil. The use of the Bridal Veil is one of the timeless practices during weddings. Along with the oldest bridal customs, wearing a Bridal Veil is still evident. The veil is considered a significant element that it becomes part of the design of the bride’s wedding gown. The veil is believed to have the power to ward off the evil elements that might kidnap the bride before she unites with her husband. What is embodied in the veil is the respectability of the bride. Through this, she assures the husband and his family that she is respectable. The lifting of the veil signifies possession of the husband over his wife and her presentation to his family.
